FIREHYDRANT ELECTRIC

Man, I can't believe September is past let alone almost October.  This year is flying past quicker than ever.  University is so incredibly awesome.  I am getting into singing with worship as well as, of course, drumming.  Tyler and I are both involved in the CMU Jazz Band.  There are so many amazing musicians there.  We are very lucky to have that kind of experience.  Braden is doing great at the U of M and from what I hear he is practically bankrupting Club Regent Casino.  If engineering or being a rock star doesn't work out there is always the professional gambling career.  Derek is working a full time job now so he has weekends off to come in to the big city and hook up with the rest of us.  We are all enjoying our time after high school and just chilling out and doing the usual stupid antics we have always done.  Like the death threat on our first weekend in the city.  Don't even ask about that one.

We found the sweetest pub house band in downtown Winnipeg.  At the King's Head Pub every Sunday night there is free pool and this great band called All The Kings Men.  They play lotsof blues stuff including covers from The Doors to Pink Floyd and some of the best improv I have ever heard.  I definitely think that will be a regular hangout on Sundays for us.  Tyler, Derek and I were inspired by these guys.  We all had the biggest, stupid looking grins on our face as we watched the guys play.  Amazing.
