About FHE

Firehydrant Electric is a band originally out of Portage la Prairie, MB, Canada.  This fall three of us have relocated to Winnipeg because of university.  We are a group of four crazy guys who get together and write good old-fashioned rock and roll music.  Don't be fooled by our boyish looks and innocent smiles, we know how to have a good time!  The members are:  

+Tyler Plett- Vocals & Guitar  

+Derek Voth- Vocals & Guitar  

+Braden Dick- Bass  

+Josh Fraser- Drums

So you may be thinking, "Why the heck is their name Firehydrant Electric!".  The honest truth is that there is absolutely no reason.  We were a couple weeks away from performing and we had nothing to go on.  So Braden jokingly said "What about Firehydrant Electric?".  We had a good laugh and kept practicing.  So around comes performance time and we still haven't got anything better, so it stuck.
